    Funeral services for Alan Loyd, 56, of Gilmer will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Calhoun and Dr. David Jenkins officiating.

    Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Loyd died Sunday, April 29, in McKinney.

  • Audrey Wright
    1927 - 2007
    Funeral services for Audrey Pauline Shook Wright, 80, of Ore City were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Walnut Creek Baptist Church with Brother Roger D. Patterson officiating.

    Burial followed at Ore City Cemetery. Mrs. Wright died on Saturday, April 28, in a Longview Medical Center.

    Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Matilda Duke, 89, of Hooks will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel in Nash with Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Duke died Sunday, April 29.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Faye McClelland, 79, of Gilmer will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. McClelland passed away on Monday, April 30, in Gilmer.

    Funeral services for John D. Adams, 69, of Ore City were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Ore City Church of Christ with Johnny Coleman officiating. Interment was at Ore City Cemetery under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home of Diana. Mr. Adams passed away Saturday, April 28, at his home.

    Funeral services for Steve Noble, 39, of Gilmer were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Burial was at Little Hope Cemetery. Mr. Noble died Thursday, April 26, in Yazoo, Miss.

    Cremation was under the direction of Croley Funeral Home-Gilmer. Mr. Thornbrugh died Monday, April 23, in Gilmer.

    Graveside services for Flora Dean Lynch, 76, of Longview were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Memory Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Roadcap officiating.

    Mrs. Lynch died Thursday, April 19, at Summer Meadows Nursing Home.
